March 9, 2018 Update

Today the fungi watched the Giants beat the Mariners 10-7 in Scottsdale, AZ where the weather was perfect (81°) for watching baseball (in the shade).  This was Buster Posey's first spring training game.  His first at bat he hit a double.   Nice hit, Buster.  Then Brandon Belt was up to bat.  He crushed it for a 2-run homer!   Way to go Brandon!

Later, Fungi posed for a photo with Vida Blue.   And Vida even gave the Fungi an autographed baseball – all for only a $20 donation!  Vida, you're a good sport!

March 8, 2018 Update

The fungi went to his first spring training night game.   The Giants played the Mariners at Peoria stadium tonight and won 4-0.

And Fungirl got to wear her new blingged Spring Training Hat.    What a beautiful night to be at the ballgame!     

March 6, 2018 Update

We sat in the front row today to watch the A's beat the Texas Rangers 3-5.  It was a little bit overcast today, but still warm.

March 2, 2018

Today Fungi went to his first baseball game of the season. It's spring training in Phoenix. The Giants played the Reds this afternoon. Temperature reached 75° at Scottsdale stadium. Too bad the Giants lost. Oh well, It's only spring training. Fungi sat near people from Modesto, Vacaville and Angels Camp, CA.  The CA central valley contingency is strong for the Giants!
