Fungi blog day one. February 27, 2018

Well, we got a little bit of a late start, but we’re on the road!  Headed to Bakersfield, CA. We’ve seen this part of the country before, this is still the most beautiful time of year to be driving through central California with all the blossoms in full bloom.  And we’ve got great weather for driving today.

We made it to Bakersfield RV Resort. It’s a little dark, but seems like a nice place. Fungi will check it out in the morning. The resort & Crest Bar & Grill are located on the site of the old Crest Drive-in.  It was really nice to have a restaurant on site at the RV Resort.
