We made it back to California.  We were able to cross the border from Oregon to California with no problem since the fires in the area were under control.  If we had headed back 3 days earlier we would have had to stop as the I5 Interstate was closed because of fire crossing the freeway.  The photos show how much was burned in a short amount of time.

Today we attended the wedding of the son of one of Fungirl’s clients.  It was held in their backyard.  And it was only 96 degrees at the start, much cooler than it could have been.  The wedding was a beautiful blend of cultures.  And the pool cover was made by the groom and the groom’s father.

Fungi is celebrating 50 years since high school graduation.  What an accomplishment, Fungi!  The Capuchino High School class of 1968 celebrated 50 years in Redwood City, CA with a dinner and dance.  It was a great opportunity to see old friends and catch up.

We’ve been very busy since coming back to California!
