We're leaving Pahrump tomorrow so today we decided to go to Mom's Diner. If you read A Day in Pahrump on May 12 you may recall that we went to a Dessert Auction and successfully bid on the most delicious brownies we've ever had. Those brownies cam from Mom's Diner. Yesterday we called to see if they were going to have any brownies today so we can take some back to Modesto and were told they would have a batch for us, so here we are.
We figured we're here so we might as well have breakfast. That's probably the best decision we made all day! Fungi had eggs with sausage and Fungirl had an egg skillet with potatoes, bell peppers, onions, bacon and, of course, eggs. Delicious!
And then we got to meet Mom.
We told her our story about successfully bidding on her brownies, and they were so good we came to get more. Mom was so excited to hear how much money her brownies raised that she asked if she could take our picture and post it on her Facebook page.
This is Judi and Rick from Modesto California ..pickung up some brownies for their trip home…such great people!!
