The fungi is headed back to California today.  The sky over Phoenix was a little dark and wet this morning.  Maybe Phoenix is sad to see us go. We are certainly sad to leave. We have really enjoyed spending March in Arizona. 

It's another gorgeous travel day. We crossed the border into California just after noon. 

We packed a lunch so our only stops are for fuel.  Not a lot of traffic so we're making good time.  But we're not in LA yet. 

We ran into a little bit of traffic in Pasadena CA, but still made good time. There was also some traffic over the Grapevine and a definite change in the weather.

Back in Modesto.

We had a gloomy reception as we pulled into town. 

It was a little strange crossing the threshold into the house after being away for almost 4 weeks. Now the work begins, emptying the house. Hopefully we'll be back on the road by May 1, 2018. Be sure to check back to see where the Fungi is headed next!
