Sedona AZ

We took a day-trip to Sedona, AZ today.  It was a great day for an hour and 15 minute drive north.  Some of the view was the same view we saw a week earlier, but today was a much nicer day.

We got to Sedona around noon.  It was about 64 degrees, quite warm for Sedona at this time of year.       This was Fungi's first visit to Sedona.  It was absolutely awe-inspiring!       The color of the rocks and the thought of how this came about was inspirational!  These photos really don't do it justice.

We had lunch at the Oak Creek Brewery and Grill.        Pepperoni & Italian Sausage Pizza, Greek Salad and Macaroni & Cheese! Yum!

We didn't have enough time to take a tour, so we used our time to scope out the area to see where to stay when we come back and gather information on tours we'd like to take.    We talked with the manager at Rancho Sedona RV Park about making a future reservation.  She told us the park is almost always full, so a reservation is a necessity and to plan well in advance!

We headed back to Phoenix through Cornville.  On the way back we stopped to help a stranded couple who had a flat tire.    They were SO grateful!
