Woodinville Whiskey Tour

June 30, 2018

We had so much fun on the Woodinville Whiskey Co. tour in Woodinville, WA.  Our tour guide was originally from Scotland, but said he’s been here so long that when he goes home to visit they think he sounds like he’s from Texas.

He’s also one of just four distillers so if there had been any problems he would have had to cut our tour short. He was really funny, but also very knowledgeable about how whiskey is made. We all learned a lot about making whiskey.

Then it was time for whiskey tasting. We were each given three different whiskeys – Bourbon, Rye & American. They were all very good.

We also got to taste their barrel-aged maple syrup, which was so good we bought a bottle, then had to make pancakes for dinner. Yum! And of course whiskey tasting leads to whiskey buying, so we bought a bottle of their Bourbon Whiskey, too.
